Job Overview:

We are currently seeking a reliable and self-motivated External Cleaner to join our team at Battersea Power Station. The successful candidate will be responsible for the cleaning and maintenance of the external areas of the site to ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for all visitors and employees.

Shift Hours :

Monday to Friday 2pm to 11pm

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform a variety of cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and pressure washing, to keep the external areas of Battersea Power Station clean and well-maintained.

• Clean and disinfect all outdoor furniture, fixtures, and equipment.

• Empty and dispose of all waste and recycling bins, and ensure they are kept in their designated areas.

• Report any damages, defects, or hazards to the appropriate department for prompt resolution.

• Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.

• Proactively identify and report any potential improvements or efficiencies that can be made to the cleaning and maintenance processes.

Skills and Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Proven experience in a similar external cleaning role.

• Excellent attention to detail and time management skills.

• Knowledge of cleaning products and techniques.

• Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as pressure washers.

• Basic understanding of health and safety procedures.

• Good communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
