Sculpd is a disruptive craft experience company. Since launching our first pottery product in 2020, we’ve grown rapidly to establish ourselves as the category creator and leader in creative experiences. Since then, we’ve expanded our product range and international footprint and we’re now setting our sights on becoming the global leader.
We built the brand around the idea that everyone is crafty in their own way. We’re inspiring people to create things with their hands that they never thought they could, while bringing people together in the process. Our customers love the nostalgic feeling of falling back in love with a childhood craft, so we design accessible products that allow them to fit their new favourite hobby in with their busy lifestyles.
Starting in the UK and now selling to customers in over 60 countries worldwide, we started with clay and now we’re taking crafts further than it’s ever been before.
We’ve had a fast start since inception and now we’re ready to go to the next level
- We started with our famous Sculpd Kit one year ago which has since sold to nearly 200,000 customers in more than 60 countries around the world
- We’ve built an amazing social community in which past and present customers inspire future customers with their amazing pottery creations. We’ve grown from 0 to almost 100k Instagram followers in just over a year!
- We’ve got an exciting product roadmap and the products we’re bringing to market will change the craft game
- International expansion is a key focus this year and we are expanding to meet customer demand across the globe
- We’ve built partnerships with the most influential brands in the UK and US including Bloom & Wild, Patch Plants, Missoma, Mr Black Spirits, Papier, Biscuiteers with many more to come
The role and how you’ll be working
- Reporting into one of the co-founders, you’ll have great exposure to all areas of the business, and will be driving our commercial initiatives in all territories
- Working with retail partners to establish new relationships, onboard new retailers and drive successful outcomes for both parties
- Run and optimise our team events process, working with inbound leads to create bookings and looking at ways to improve both the offering to customers and the process behind making it work
- Run an outbound prospecting process to win new event business
- Work with channel partners to establish new relationships and scale uptake of the Sculpd product range
- Working closely with our Product and Marketing teams to launch new products into the channels you own and ensuring you have the collateral required
Description of type of candidate we’re looking for
- 2 - 3 years of experience in a commercial role, preferably in a fast paced startup environment
- Commercially minded, you love creating solutions to solve people’s pains
- Proactive and action orientated
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, you’ll be confident working with multiple external stakeholders and managing expectations
- You love the idea of learning new skills or ways of working as the business continues to grow at pace
