Shadowgraph is seeking a skilled and dedicated Print Operator to join our dynamic team.
The ideal candidate will have experience in managing and maintaining digital printing equipment, ensuring high-quality print output, and meeting production deadlines.
The Print Operator ensures that the manufacturing processes run effectively and efficiently in a clean, healthy, and
safe working environment to produce products that meet specified Quality Standards and Specifications, and which are produced economically and delivered in a timely manner
Duties/Responsibilities:
Prepare and operate printing machines including Indigo 5600 Digital Press, Heidelberg Lithographic press, and ATMA silk screen machine according to proper instructions and procedures.
Run several presses with different size and color capacities.
Guide and monitor all press production ensuring that quality standards are adhered to.
Make adjustments to manage ink distribution, speed and temperature of processes.
Make quick corrections to avoid expensive losses of substrate and ink
Oil and clean presses, make minor repairs and perform preventative maintenance.
Perform and comply with all audit procedures relating to PCI requirements and security of jobs.
Follow procedures to maintain safety and efficiency.
Keep area clean and organized.
Follow any other instructions given by supervisor and management.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Ability to effectively communicate with peers andmanagement.
Interpretation of sizes, thicknesses and substrates,inks as specified by customers.
Print background to produce artwork according toexact customer specifications.
Outstanding organizational and time management skills
Excellent interpersonal and Troubleshooting printing skills.
Well versed in card designs and specifications.
Excellent working skills to operate and maintain various printing equipment.
Great communication and leadership skills
Problem-solving mindset
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or higher education required.
Previous hands on experience with press equipment including.
Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and talk or hear.
The employee frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms.
The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include color vision, and ability to adjust focus
