Job Summary: 

We are seeking a diligent and efficient Loader/Unloader to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and accurate loading and unloading of products from delivery trucks, ensuring that goods are handled with care and stored properly. This position requires physical strength, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Loading Duties:
  • Safely load products onto delivery trucks, ensuring they are securely packed to prevent damage during transit.
  • Verify that all items on the loading list are accounted for and properly packaged.
• Unloading Duties:
  • Carefully unload incoming shipments, inspecting goods for damage and verifying quantities against packing slips.
  • Organize and store products in the appropriate areas of the warehouse.
• Inventory Assistance:
  • Assist with maintaining accurate inventory records by updating stock levels and reporting discrepancies.
  • Help with regular inventory counts and organization of warehouse shelves.
• Quality Control:
  • Inspect products during loading and unloading to ensure they meet Sheba Foods’ quality standards.
  • Report any damaged or defective items to the supervisor immediately.
• Warehouse Maintenance:
  • Keep the loading and unloading areas clean and free of hazards.
  • Ensure that all equipment is in good working condition and report any maintenance needs.
• Team Collaboration:
  • Work closely with warehouse team members to ensure smooth operations.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues to address any issues or challenges.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a warehouse or loading/unloading role is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer skills for inventory and order management.
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy boxes (up to 50 lbs) and stand for long periods.

• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
• Must pass a background check and drug test as part of the hiring process.
