Loader/Unloader at Sheba Foods

In this position, you’ll ensure the smooth handling of products, preparing them for transport and delivery to customers across the country.

As a Loader/Unloader, you will be key to ensuring that our products are moved efficiently from the warehouse to delivery vehicles and beyond.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely load and unload goods from trucks, trailers, and containers while maintaining product quality.
• Organize and stack products securely, optimizing space for transportation and minimizing damage.
• Assist with the staging of goods for shipping, ensuring accuracy in product counts and labels.
• Use pallet jacks, dollies, and other equipment to efficiently move heavy loads.
• Inspect incoming shipments for damage, ensuring proper handling and reporting any issues to the supervisor.
• Work closely with warehouse and delivery teams to keep loading areas clean, organized, and safe.
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines when handling materials and equipment.
• Help maintain accurate inventory by verifying product quantities during loading and unloading.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in loading, unloading, or warehouse operations is preferred, but not required.
• Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and quality.
• Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively with coworkers.
• Familiarity with basic warehouse tools and equipment, such as pallet jacks and dollies.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
