We are looking to hire PGT teachers for Painting.
Job Purpose:
To deliver high-quality instruction in Painting, fostering creativity, critical thinking, and advanced artistic skills among senior secondary students, while preparing them for board examinations and higher education in the visual arts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons in accordance with the school curriculum and guidelines for Painting (Classes XI–XII).
- Develop students’ proficiency across various mediums such as watercolor, acrylic, oil, and mixed media, along with art theory and history components prescribed by CBSE.
- Prepare students for examinations, including portfolio development, practical assessments, and theory papers.
- Design differentiated learning experiences to cater to varied skill levels and encourage originality and innovation.
- Assess student performance through formative and summative methods as per board norms, maintaining accurate academic records.
- Curate and organize art exhibitions, showcases, and competitions to promote student work and enhance school visibility.
- Maintain a safe, well-organized, and resource-rich art studio environment.
- Integrate contemporary art practices, digital tools, and interdisciplinary approaches into teaching.
- Mentor and guide students interested in pursuing Fine Arts as a career, including portfolio preparation for higher education.
- Collaborate with faculty and participate actively in school events, workshops, and professional development programs.
Qualification:
- Master’s Degree in Fine Arts (MFA – Painting / Visual Arts) from a recognized university.
- B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) – Mandatory.
Experience:
- 3–7 years of teaching experience, preferably in reputed CBSE schools.
- Demonstrated experience in teaching Classes XI–XII (Painting) and handling CBSE Board curriculum.
- Proven exposure to organizing exhibitions, student portfolios, and inter-school competitions.
- Experience in integrating digital art tools or modern art techniques will be an added advantage.
