ICT & Digital Media Technician - Exeter College at Socially Recruited

We are looking for an ICT & Digital Media Technician to join our first line team to assist with the installation and maintenance of hardware/software and provide help desk and technical support for Microsoft 365, PCs, Macs, laptops, tablet devices, audio visual systems, telephones and printers.
 

You should have an attention to detail, and a desire and willingness to learn. You should be willing and able to travel between college sites and be enthusiastic about current and future technologies.
 

This is a great opportunity for someone with excellent communication and customer service skills to become part of an outstanding ICT Service.

Key role objectives: 

• To take part in the support, deployment and maintenance of ICT & Media equipment at locations within the Exeter College group.
• To provide hardware & software first-line technical support for PCs, Macs, laptops, tablet devices, audio visual systems, telephones and printers.
• To maintain, install and operate fixed & temporary ICT / AV installations.
• To support Office 365 apps and other digital technologies, in line with the college’s ICT & Digital Strategy.
• To provide ICT and media support for a range of college events, including virtual, on and off college premises, including transporting, operating, rigging, and de-rigging equipment.

The role will involve working at sites across Devon and could involve working at evenings and weekends.
