Are you ready to help our spacecraft thrive in the harsh environment of space? We’re searching for an outstanding thermal engineer to join our dynamic team, responsible for designing, analysing, and optimising thermal control systems for spacecraft destined to transform how we operate in space.
In this exciting role you will:
- Lead the charge in designing and analyzing cutting-edge thermal control systems for spacecraft on the frontier of space technology. 🛸
- Collaborate closely with a diverse team of engineers and scientists to integrate thermal requirements into spacecraft design and ensure mission success. 🔬
- Harness the power of advanced simulation tools to predict and optimize spacecraft thermal behavior in the harshest environments known to humanity. 💻
- Pioneer groundbreaking thermal management solutions to tackle the most daunting challenges of space travel. 🔥
- Conduct rigorous thermal testing and verification activities to validate spacecraft designs and mitigate risks. 🌡️
- Serve as a guiding light for project teams, providing technical expertise and strategic direction throughout the spacecraft lifecycle. 🌟
- Stay ahead of the curve by staying abreast of the latest technologies and innovations in spacecraft thermal engineering. 🚀
PROFILE
You will be a great fit for this role if you:
- are pro-active, creative, enthusiastic about space, and result-orientated
- have a bachelor’s degree in Physics, Aerospace Engineering, or other relevant discipline, (or currently finishing a bachelor’s degree with equivalent industry experience)
- have at least 1 year of experience working with thermal and radiation control/protection systems for spacecraft application
- have experience working with Matlab, FeMap or HyperMesh
- have a good and practical knowledge of the development flow and the interaction with the other disciplines is a strong advantage.
