We're searching for a visionary Vice President of Engineering to join our Executive team reporting to the CEO, leading the charge designing and building our revolutionary Orbital Servicing Vehicles (OSVs).

In this role you will:
- Develop and execute the company's engineering strategy, aligning with our overall vision to provide on-orbit servicing and security solutions for customers.
- Lead and manage a diverse team of engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.
- Oversee the design, development, testing, and deployment of our space technology products and services.
- Ensure that all engineering projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, operations, and business development, to drive product innovation and improve processes.
- Stay up to date with the latest trends and advancements in the space industry, identifying opportunities for innovation and growth.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key partners, suppliers, and customers in the space industry.
- Manage the engineering budget, allocating resources effectively and efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and best practices in the aerospace industry.
- Attract, hire, and retain top engineering talent, building a world-class team of space technology experts.
PROFILE
As the VP of Engineering at our space startup, you should:
- possess a unique blend of technical expertise, leadership skills, and a passion for space exploration.
- With your master's degree or higher in a relevant engineering field and your proven track record of successfully leading engineering teams in the aerospace industry, you should have a deep understanding of space systems, including on-orbit servicing technologies.
- As a visionary leader, you should be capable of developing and executing long-term engineering strategies, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment, and effectively communicating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- You should be prepared to take on the challenges of developing groundbreaking space technologies, work tirelessly to achieve ambitious goals, and continuously stay up to date with the latest trends in the space industry. Above all, you should have a genuine passion for advancing the field of on-orbit servicing and shaping the future of space exploration.
