We are seeking a highly organized and enthusiastic Event Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for events, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. As an Event Assistant, you will help ensure that all aspects of event planning and execution run smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the planning and execution of events from conception to completion.
- Coordinate logistics, including venue selection, catering, and vendor management.
- Help create and distribute event materials, including invitations, flyers, and programs.
- Maintain schedules, timelines, and budgets to ensure events stay on track.
- Provide on-site support during events, including setup, registration, and breakdown.
- Interact with clients, vendors, and attendees in a professional manner.
- Assist with post-event evaluations and feedback collection.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in event planning or hospitality is a plus but not required.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
