Job: Room Attendant
Salary: $20 per hour

Job description:
We are looking for a professional Lead Room Attendant to attend to our Inn with integrity and attention to detail.
They will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining guest rooms and common areas as well as managing the upkeep and stock of supplies and amenities.
The goal is to create a clean and organized environment for our guests that will become a critical factor in strengthening our guest experience while maintaining a work environment that promotes growth and creativity.
Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of cleaning activities such as cleaning floors, dusting, making beds, and cleaning bathrooms
- Ensure all rooms are cared for and inspected according to Stanton House Inn standards
- Maintain cleaning equipment and communicate when they need to be replaced
- Notify superiors of any damages or issues found when cleaning
- Deal with reasonable complaints or requests with professionalism and patience
- Check stock levels of all linens and amenities and replace when necessary
- Adhere strictly to rules regarding health and safety and be aware of any company related practices
Preferred Attributes:
- Excellent planning and organizational skills
- Previous experience in a similar position
- An eye for detail to make sure everything is up to our standards
- Excellent communication skills as they will be communicating with guests and other team members daily
- The ability to work both individually and in a team environment
- Experience as a room attendant, cleaner or housekeeper
- Customer-oriented and friendly
- Has prioritization and time management skills
- Works quickly without compromising quality
- Knowledge of the English language
- A High School degree
- Can lift 50 pounds

It is important to note that the Inn is a historic house and is not ADA compliant. Therefore, the job requires the ability to climb stairs as there is no elevator.
