This is a rare opportunity to be involved in a nonprofit start-up children's theatre and art school. The Storybook Children's Theatre offers full or part-time internships to qualified high school, college undergraduate, or graduate students of the performing arts, arts education, arts and/or nonprofit administration. Areas of internship may include Marketing, Design, Education, Production, Development, Media or Administration.
Academic Credit
SCT will help any student needing to fulfill specific credit requirements by working with faculty advisors from participating schools. All arrangements of credit must be made by intern. Please provide any paperwork with application.
Evaluation
Interns will participate in periodic evaluations with department staff. Final evaluation will be sent to faculty advisor.
Payment
We are currently offering unpaid internships during our first season. Parking permit compensation will be paid.
Staff Training: June 3 - 7
Session One: June 10 - 28th
Session Two: July 8 - Aug 2

Marketing Intern
Assist in development of marketing and social media campaigns. Participate in promotional events. Photography and videography skills are a plus.
Development Intern (Nonprofit)
Assist with Development Activities for individual and corporate giving. Responsibilities include: Developing donor initiatives, database management, assisting fundraising campaigns.
Creative Education Intern (Hours vary)
Assist in musical theatre and art classes for students ages 6 - 15. Preferences will be given to candidates with experience working with children. Must be comfortable interacting with children and parents.
