Job Description: Hospital Pharmacist Director
The Hospital Pharmacist Director oversees the pharmacy department, ensuring the safe and effective use of medications across the healthcare facility. Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and managing pharmacy staff, including pharmacists, technicians, and support personnel.
- Developing and implementing policies and procedures for safe medication use, ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Collaborating with healthcare teams to optimize medication therapy management and improve patient outcomes.
- Overseeing medication procurement, inventory management, and cost control measures.
- Conducting audits and quality assurance reviews to monitor medication safety and efficacy.
- Managing the pharmacy budget and resource allocation efficiently.
