Software Manager at Haptech, Inc.

We are currently looking for a Software Manager to bring their energy and expertise to bear on championing a software team to revolutionize the future of our next generation gaming devices utilizing our best-in-class tech. 

What you will do:

• Play a critical role in developing, designing, implementing and testing simulation hardware, software and gaming integrations
• Mentor and lead software engineering team 
• Collaborate with external and internal stakeholders on project development, identifying milestones and setting project timelines and deliverables
• Work with software engineers and broader engineering team on developing protocols and process, identifying and setting best practices, including documentation standards
• Coordinate with outside contractors on an as needed basis
• Ideate with leadership on new and existing product design and strategy

Requirements:

• 6+ years post-graduation experience
• 2+ years demonstrated success in people management
• Proficiency with JavaScript, C#
• Experience building tool chains
• Strong organizational skills, documentation experience
• Dynamic verbal and written communication skills
• Collaborative, friendly problem-solving – It’s not “my way or the highway” it’s, “how can we do this together?
• Ability to lead a team and foster a culture of learning. We are looking for someone that thrives in developing and mentoring others
• Experience tracking and planning development with a small team
• MSFT Office Suite

Preferred experience:

• BS in Computer Science
• Experience in .NET
• Project management experience
• Experience in Electron, Unity/Unreal
• Experience with consumer electronics
• Experience working with a start up
