We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Pathologist to join our growing team. As a Pathologist, you will play a vital role in the diagnostics and treatment of diseases and conditions through the analysis and examination of tissue samples, fluids, and other specimens.
Responsibilities:
-Obtain and analyze patient samples, including blood, urine, and tissue
-Conduct a variety of diagnostic tests, such as histopathology, cytology, and molecular pathology
-Interpret test results to determine the presence and severity of disease
-Consult with other medical professionals to discuss diagnosis and treatment plans
-Ensure accurate and timely reporting of test results
-Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements and developments in pathology
-Manage and maintain laboratory equipment and supplies
-Oversee and train laboratory staff, including medical technologists and technicians
-Participate in research studies and contribute to medical publications
Qualifications:
-Medical degree (MD or DO) and completion of a pathology residency program
-Board certification by the American Board of Pathology
-Unrestricted license to practice medicine in the state where the position is located
-Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
