A leading healthcare recruitment company, is seeking a highly qualified and dedicated Specialist/Consultant Spine Surgeon to join our team.
As a Specialist/Consultant Spine Surgeon, you will use your expertise to diagnose and treat patients with a wide range of spinal conditions. Your primary responsibilities will include performing spinal surgeries, conducting thorough patient evaluations and assessments, and implementing treatment plans that promote patient recovery and well-being.
Responsibilities:
• Evaluate and diagnose patients with spinal conditions through thorough physical examinations, imaging scans, and laboratory tests
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for each patient, taking into consideration their medical history, age, and condition severity
• Perform complex and minimally invasive spinal surgeries, including decompressions, fusions, and disc replacements
• Provide pre-operative and post-operative care, closely monitoring patients' progress and making necessary adjustments to treatment plans as needed
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams, including physiatrists, physical therapists, and pain management specialists to optimize patient outcomes
• Stay updated on the latest advancements in spinal surgery techniques and technologies and incorporate them into practice as appropriate
• Educate patients and their families on procedures, expected outcomes, and post-operative care instructions
Requirements:
• Medical degree from an accredited university
• Valid medical license and board certification in Spine Surgery
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Spine Surgeon
• Proven track record of successfully performing complex spinal surgeries
• Knowledge of the latest advancements in spinal surgery techniques and technologies
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work well in a team environment
