Shipper/Receiver at Telkaone Trucking

We’re seeking a dependable Shipper/Receiver to join our team. 
In this essential role, you’ll be responsible for managing incoming shipments, maintaining accurate inventory records, and ensuring that products are organized and easily accessible.
Responsibilities:
Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy in terms of quantity, quality, and condition.
Unload shipments and process materials from trucks and other delivery vehicles.
Properly label and store received items in designated areas.
Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks, to move products.
Keep accurate records of deliveries and update inventory management systems.
Work closely with other departments to ensure timely receipt and distribution of materials.
Adhere to safety and quality guidelines within the warehouse.
Organize and maintain stock in an efficient, clean, and optimized manner.
Qualifications:
Prior experience in a similar shipping/receiving or warehouse role is beneficial but not mandatory.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate warehouse equipment.
Attention to detail and accuracy when inspecting products.
Strong communication skills with the ability to work well in a team.
Basic computer skills for data entry into inventory systems.
Capacity to work in a fast-paced environment while upholding safety and quality standards.
