We’re on the lookout for a part-time Office Manager to join Tended! Working closely with our Operations and People team, you’ll be a point of contact for our team to make sure they can work smoothly, from supplying the office (or home offices!) to booking travel or general and company admin. As a choice-first hybrid workspace, this includes not just physical office management but supporting our remote employees too.
Why are we hiring an office manager? 💭
We’re looking for someone who is an excellent communicator and highly organised to come in and help us prepare to scale the team. Your role will be to create and maintain a pleasant work environment, ensuring high levels of organisational effectiveness and communication.
Key Responsibilities
- Office management
- Ordering supplies, postage management and liaising for maintenance issues
- General admin duties, such as helping to keep our fire safety and office policy up to date
- Take care of our team who work remotely, such as ordering equipment
- Adhoc duties as required to support the smooth running of our hybrid workforce
- Company admin
- Schedule meetings and appointments for senior team members
- Organise travel arrangements
- Operations and People support
- Partner with Operations to update and maintain office policies
- Support the People team when onboarding and offboarding employees
- Plan in-house or off-site activities, such as parties or celebrations
Requirements

- Experience as an Office Manager, Front office manager or Administrative assistant an advantage, but not essential
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritise work
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisational and planning skills in a fast-paced environment
- A creative mind with the ability to suggest improvements and a passion for inclusivity

Selection process
- Initial "get to know you" interview
- A second interview with your prospective line manager and one or more key members of the team
Please note: as this role involves physical office management the ability to come into Lincoln a few times a week (of your choice) is required.
