The company consists of a corporate HQ in Austin, TX and a network of more than 200 franchise locations nationwide.
Role Summary
The Digital Marketing Specialist will report to the Director of Marketing and will support overall Marketing strategy for a franchise system with more than 200 franchise locations. This role will be responsible for nationwide Digital Marketing campaigns and providing guidance to franchisees marketing in their local territories. In addition to the typical responsibilities of the Digital Marketing function, the current focus is streamlining our Google Ads program, improving SEO, and providing SEO guidance for a website update.
Role Expectations
- Lead all SEO/SEM activities
- Develop and execute and SEO strategy for the corporate website and provide SEO guidance for franchisee microsites
- Assist with social media activities
- Own all activities on Google including advertising and organic search, staying on top of changes as they are rolled out and modifying the strategy appropriately
- Understand the implications of Google search updates, requirements, and criteria in a multi-location, franchise system and be able to develop best practices
- Create and execute the social media advertising and retargeting strategy providing insight into which platforms will deliver the best results for an IT business with our specific target audience
- Understand the target audience and effectively reach them to deliver quality leads for the franchisees
- Build out and track KPIs and analytics to demonstrate performance on spend
- Build strong relationships with the franchise owners, supporting them with Digital Marketing guidance and best practices
- Plan and execute an email marketing plan to expand our digital reach with proper A/B testing with the goal of generating and nurturing leads for franchisees
- Partner with the internal Marketing team and external agencies to generate content and other necessary support to execute the Digital Marketing function efficiently and effectively
- Partner with the internal Marketing team and vendors to launch of the website refresh digging in from a Digital Marketing perspective on SEO elements, ensuring corporate site and microsites benefit
- Stay up to date on search engine algorithm changes and how those impact the corporate website and microsites and adjust the Digital Marketing and Advertising strategy accordingly

- Creative and willing to evolve marketing plans as the industry evolves
- Has previous Digital Marketing experience
- Has created and executed a Digital Marketing strategy
- Has in-depth knowledge of search engine criteria and practices
- Has experience in the IT industry
- Understands how to work with marketing automation tools
