Position Overview
As a Personal Injury Attorney at The Angell Law Firm, you will be responsible for handling a wide range of personal injury cases. You will work closely with clients to understand their needs, develop case strategies, and fight for the compensation they deserve.
Key Responsibilities
- Legal Consultation and Case Management: Consult with clients to understand their case details, provide legal advice, and manage all aspects of their legal process.
- Policy Development: Develop and articulate company policies and positions on various legal issues.
- Depositions: Conduct depositions of both lay and expert witnesses to gather critical information for case development.
- Risk Management: Research, anticipate, and protect clients from potential legal risks.
- Document Preparation: Structure, draft, and review legal documents, reports, and contracts.
- Negotiation and Settlement: Negotiate and settle cases for clients who have suffered catastrophic injuries.
- Court Representation: Represent clients in legal proceedings, including trials, hearings, and mediations.
- Contract Administration: Draft, review, and manage all contractual agreements.
- Meeting Participation: Attend and contribute to company meetings and discussions.
Qualifications
- Experience: 3-5 years of proven experience in personal injury law.
- Skills: Exceptional negotiation, communication, administrative, and managerial skills. Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail. Proficiency in computer skills.
- Education: BS degree in Law.
- Licensure: Current license to practice law in Georgia.
