We are currently looking for a skilled, detail-oriented and motivated entry level proofreader responsible for reviewing and correcting written content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency. This role plays a critical part in maintaining the quality and professionalism of all documents by identifying and correcting errors in grammar, spelling, punctuation, and formatting. The ideal candidate has a strong command of language, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently under deadlines.

 Key Responsibilities

  • Review and proofread documents, reports, emails, and digital content for grammatical, spelling, and punctuation errors
  • Ensure consistency in tone, style, formatting, and terminology across all materials
  • Edit content to improve clarity, readability, and overall quality
  • Verify accuracy of information, including dates, names, and figures when applicable
  • Follow company style guides and editorial standards
  • Collaborate with writers, editors, and team members to clarify content when needed
  • Manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive or proprietary information

 Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong command of English grammar, spelling, and punctuation
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong reading comprehension and editing skills
  • Ability to identify inconsistencies and improve content clarity
  • Good time management and organizational skills
  • Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Word, Google Docs, etc.)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • High school diploma or equivalent (degree in English, Communications, or related field is a plus)
