Job Responsibilities:
- Sort and distribute incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and other deliveries.
- Operate mailroom equipment, such as postage meters, scanners, and printers.
- Maintain accurate records of mailroom activities, including tracking and logging shipments.
- Prepare and package outgoing mail and parcels according to company procedures.
- Ensure that all mail is delivered promptly and accurately to the correct departments or individuals.
- Manage and maintain mailroom supplies, including ordering and stocking as needed.
- Assist with administrative tasks as required, including data entry and filing.
- Provide excellent customer service to internal staff and external vendors.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a mailroom or related environment is a plus but not required.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift and move packages and mail up to 50 lbs.
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
