As a Material Handler at Tree of Life Products, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient movement and storage of materials within our facility. You will be responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing materials, as well as maintaining accurate inventory records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and process incoming shipments
- Inspect deliveries for damage or discrepancies and report those to management
- Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment
- Accurately pick and prepare orders for shipment
- Maintain inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and inventory audits
- Organize and maintain the warehouse in a clean and orderly fashion
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a warehouse or material handling role is preferred
- Ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment (certification is a plus)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs)
- Basic computer skills for inventory management systems
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
