Package/Mail Screener at Tree of Life Products

Tree of Life Products is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Package/Mail Screener to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting and screening incoming packages and mail to ensure the safety and security of our facility. This role is crucial in maintaining a safe environment by detecting and preventing potential threats.

Responsibilities:

• Receive, inspect, and screen all incoming packages and mail.
• Utilize x-ray machines and other screening equipment to identify and assess potential threats.
• Verify the accuracy and integrity of the packages and mail against shipping and receiving documentation.
• Maintain detailed records of screened items and report any suspicious packages to the appropriate authorities.
• Collaborate with security personnel and other departments to ensure compliance with safety protocols.
• Assist with the organization and distribution of packages and mail within the facility.
• Maintain a clean and organized screening area.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding safety and security.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a security, mailroom, or package handling role is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify anomalies.
• Basic knowledge of x-ray machines and other screening equipment (training will be provided if necessary).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical ability to lift and move packages up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
