Package/Mail Screener at Tree of Life Products

As a Package/Mail Screener, you will be responsible for inspecting and screening all incoming and outgoing packages and mail to ensure they meet safety and security standards. Your role is critical in preventing the introduction of prohibited items and maintaining a secure environment.

Responsibilities:

• Screen and inspect all incoming and outgoing packages and mail using x-ray machines, metal detectors, and other security equipment.
• Identify and report any suspicious items or activities.
• Follow established protocols and procedures for handling and reporting prohibited items.
• Maintain accurate logs and records of all screened items.
• Collaborate with security personnel and other team members to ensure a secure facility.
• Provide excellent customer service while interacting with staff, visitors, and clients.
• Adhere to all company policies and regulations regarding safety and security.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a security or screening role is preferred.
• Ability to operate x-ray machines, metal detectors, and other screening equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify potential security threats.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must pass a background check and drug screening.

Working Conditions:

• Standing for extended periods.
• Manual handling of packages and mail.
• Exposure to various weather conditions (if applicable).
