Package/Mail Screener at Tree of Life Products

The Package/Mail Screener will be responsible for inspecting and screening incoming and outgoing packages and mail to ensure compliance with company policies and security standards. This role requires a keen eye for detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to operate screening equipment efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough inspections of packages and mail using X-ray machines, metal detectors, and other screening equipment.
• Identify and report any suspicious or prohibited items in accordance with security protocols.
• Ensure that all packages and mail comply with company policies and relevant regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of screened items, including documentation of any incidents or irregularities.
• Collaborate with other team members and security personnel to address potential security concerns.
• Follow established procedures for the safe handling and disposal of suspicious or hazardous materials.
• Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients or colleagues during the screening process.
• Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the screening area.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience in a security, logistics, or similar role preferred.
• Ability to operate screening equipment (X-ray machines, metal detectors, etc.).
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify irregularities quickly.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift packages up to 50 pounds.
• Willingness to undergo background checks and security clearance if required.
