The Stockroom Utility Operator plays a crucial role in maintaining an organized and efficient stockroom environment. This position involves managing inventory, ensuring proper storage and handling of products, and supporting various stockroom operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and accurately record incoming stock.
- Organize and maintain inventory in an orderly manner.
- Prepare and pack items for shipment.
- Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment.
- Operate stockroom equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, safely and efficiently.
- Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile discrepancies.
- Collaborate with other departments to fulfill orders and manage stock levels.
- Maintain a clean and organized stockroom environment.
- Follow safety protocols and company policies at all times.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a stockroom or warehouse environment is preferred.
- Basic understanding of inventory management and stock control.
- Ability to operate stockroom equipment (training provided if necessary).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift and move heavy items safely.
