We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Stockroom Utility Operator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the organization, efficiency, and safety of our stockroom operations. The ideal candidate is a motivated self-starter with a keen eye for detail and a strong commitment to ensuring that stock levels are accurately managed.
Key Responsibilities:
Inventory Management: Receive, store, and distribute materials, tools, equipment, and products within the stockroom. Conduct regular inventory counts and audits to maintain accurate stock levels.
Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Stockroom Organization: Maintain an orderly and organized stockroom by labeling, sorting, and storing items in their designated locations.
Safety Compliance: Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures. Ensure that the stockroom is clean, well-maintained, and free of hazards.
Equipment Operation: Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment to move and store inventory.
Documentation: Accurately complete all necessary paperwork and documentation related to stockroom operations, including receiving reports, inventory logs, and shipping manifests.
Communication: Collaborate with other departments, including production and shipping, to ensure seamless operations and timely fulfillment of orders.
Problem Solving: Identify and address any issues related to inventory discrepancies, stock shortages, or damaged goods.
Qualifications:
