The Warehouse Associate will be responsible for a variety of tasks in our warehouse, including receiving, storing, and distributing materials and products. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receiving and Processing Shipments: Unload and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage. Verify quantities and descriptions against packing slips or purchase orders.
- Inventory Management: Organize and store materials and products in the warehouse according to company standards. Conduct regular inventory counts and report discrepancies.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to customer specifications. Ensure accuracy and timeliness in order processing.
- Shipping: Prepare shipping documents, labels, and arrange for transportation of goods. Ensure compliance with shipping regulations and company policies.
- Equipment Operation: Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently. Maintain equipment in good working condition.
- Housekeeping: Maintain a clean and organized work area. Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other warehouse staff and supervisors to achieve operational goals and meet deadlines.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not required.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory software.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Forklift certification is a plus.
