About the Role:
As a Marketing and Events Assistant, your role will focus on promoting client brands through event marketing and engaging in face-to-face sales interactions. You’ll work closely with our team at various event locations, ensuring that customers understand our clients' missions and are inspired to take action, whether that’s making a donation for a non-profit or purchasing a product for a commercial client. Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Engagement: Engage directly with potential customers at events, presenting client products and services with confidence and enthusiasm to drive sales conversions.
- Event Participation: Represent clients at various promotional events across Manchester, including fundraising activations, product launches, and brand awareness campaigns, ensuring a high level of customer engagement.
- Customer Interaction: Establish meaningful connections with event attendees, understanding their needs and interests, and offering tailored solutions that align with client goals.
- Sales Support: Assist in setting up and managing event spaces to create an inviting atmosphere that maximizes customer interaction and sales opportunities.
- Client Advocacy: Act as an ambassador for our clients, communicating their messages effectively and building brand loyalty through personalized, face-to-face interactions.
- Performance Tracking: Track daily sales performance and provide feedback to management, assisting in developing strategies to optimize sales results.
- Training and Development: Participate in ongoing training sessions to sharpen your sales techniques and enhance your knowledge of client brands and products.
Requirements:
- Full and unrestricted right to work in the UK. We cannot consider Tier 4 or PSW visas, unfortunately.
- This is not a digital marketing position; the role involves event-based, face-to-face sales and marketing.
- Must not have applied to any of our openings in the past 30 days.
- Strong communication skills and an enthusiasm for working with people in a sales-focused environment.
- Prior experience in customer service, sales, or events is advantageous but not essential; a proactive and positive attitude is key.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, event-driven setting.
