T9-Specialist is hiring a Marketing and Sales Associate to join our team in Manchester. This role is ideal for someone passionate about engaging with people, promoting brands, and driving sales through events and face-to-face interactions. You will play an essential role in executing marketing strategies, organising promotional events, and delivering exceptional customer experiences for our non-profit clients.
Responsibilities:
- Event Promotion and Coordination: Assist in organising and executing marketing events, including setting up displays, interacting with attendees, and ensuring each event is effectively promoted to drive customer engagement and sales.
- Customer Engagement: Act as the main point of contact for customers during events, building rapport, understanding their needs, and delivering tailored presentations that highlight the benefits of our clients’ services and products.
- Sales Generation: Proactively drive sales through engaging demonstrations and conversations, converting leads into customers and meeting sales targets at events.
- Marketing Strategy Implementation: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement creative strategies that align with client objectives and maximise brand visibility.
- Market Research: Conduct on-site market research during events to gather customer feedback and insights that can be used to enhance marketing campaigns and sales approaches.
- Lead Management: Gather contact information from potential customers, follow up on leads post-event, and maintain an accurate customer database.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to ensure smooth event execution, contributing ideas and taking initiative to improve team performance and event outcomes.
- Product Knowledge Development: Continuously improve your understanding of the client’s products and services to provide accurate, enthusiastic, and informative presentations.
Requirements:
- Full and unrestricted right to work in the UK. We cannot consider Tier 4 or PSW visas, unfortunately.
- Understand we do not do digital marketing.
- Must not have applied to any of our openings in the past 30 days.
- Must be able to work full-time, with availability for evenings and weekends as needed for event schedules.
- Previous experience in sales, marketing, or customer-facing roles is preferred but not mandatory; passion and a willingness to learn are key.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with diverse audiences and build strong relationships.
- A proactive and adaptable attitude, capable of thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail to ensure that events run smoothly and client expectations are met.
- A team player who enjoys collaborating and supporting others to achieve collective goals.
