Unified Care Services is a leading provider of high-quality home care, supported living, and residential care services. We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced CQC Registered Manager to join our team and help us achieve our mission of providing excellent care and support to vulnerable individuals in our community. Position Summary:

As the CQC Registered Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management and strategic direction of our care services, ensuring that they meet all CQC standards and regulatory requirements. You will lead and manage a team of care staff, promoting a culture of excellence, professionalism, and compassion. Working closely with other members of our leadership team, you will drive the growth and development of our services, while maintaining a strong focus on person-centered care.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of our care services, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, safe, and effective care to all service users

• Act as the registered manager with CQC and be responsible for all aspects of compliance, inspection, and reporting requirements

• Lead, motivate, and manage a team of care staff, providing support, training, and development opportunities to ensure a high standard of care delivery

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with service users, their families, and external partners to ensure their needs and preferences are understood and met

• Create and implement care plans and risk assessments, regularly reviewing and updating them to reflect changes in service users' needs

• Monitor and manage budgets effectively, ensuring the financial sustainability of the services

• Identify and implement improvements to enhance the quality of care and support provided to service users

• Participate in the recruitment and selection of care staff, adhering to all relevant policies and procedures

• Ensure that all staff are trained and adhere to company policies, procedures, and best practices

 

Qualifications and Skills:

• Must be a CQC registered manager with previous experience in a similar role

• NVQ Level 4 or above in Health and Social Care or equivalent

• Excellent understanding of CQC regulations, standards, and best practices in the care industry

• Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with service users, their families, and external partners

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines

• A compassionate and empathetic nature, with a commitment to delivering person-centered care

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software
