We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Event Marketing Assistant to join our dynamic team and help us bring our events to life!
As the Event Marketing Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of events. From promotional campaigns to logistics management, your contributions will help ensure that each event runs smoothly and successfully engages our target audience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the planning and execution of various events, including but not limited to workshops, conferences, trade shows, and community gatherings.
- Support the development and implementation of marketing strategies to promote upcoming events through email, social media, and other channels.
- Create and maintain event timelines and checklists to ensure on-time execution of all event-related tasks.
- Collaborate with vendors, partners, and venues for event logistics, including catering, transportation, and audiovisual needs.
- Help design and distribute promotional materials, including flyers, brochures, and digital content.
- Track event registrations and manage participant communications, providing excellent customer service throughout the process.
- Monitor and report on event performance metrics, gathering feedback from participants and stakeholders to identify areas for improvement.
- Attend events to provide on-site support and assist with setup, registration, and coordination.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Hospitality, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Previous experience in event planning or marketing is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiar with event management software.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while managing multiple responsibilities and deadlines.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Creative mindset with a passion for event marketing and customer engagement.
