Vibes & Verbs, a dynamic copywriting company based in Columbus, OH, is seeking energetic and reliable Event Staff to assist in the execution of various events that promote our brand and engage our clients and community. As a member of our Event Staff, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the success of our events by providing excellent support and service to both attendees and the event coordination team.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the setup and breakdown of event spaces, including arranging furniture, setting up equipment, and decorating according to event specifications.
• Greet and welcome event attendees, directing them to the appropriate areas and answering any questions they may have.
• Provide on-site support during events, including managing registration desks, distributing materials, and assisting with crowd control.
• Monitor and maintain cleanliness and orderliness of event spaces throughout the event.
• Assist with serving food and beverages, managing buffets, and replenishing supplies as needed.
• Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and other event staff to ensure smooth operations.
• Help with the execution of event activities, such as coordinating workshops, games, or presentations.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with attendees and team members.
• Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing environments.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to lift and move event materials and equipment as needed.
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a team player mentality.
