Digital Video Editor at Watermark Books & Café

Watermark Books & Café is seeking a talented and creative Digital Video Editor to join our team. As a Digital Video Editor, you will have the opportunity to showcase your skills and passion for visual storytelling while working with a dynamic and collaborative team.

Responsibilities:

• Edit and produce high-quality, engaging videos for various platforms including social media, website, and in-store displays

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop video concepts and strategies that align with brand vision and goals

• Research and stay updated on latest video trends and techniques to bring fresh ideas and perspectives to our content

• Review and provide feedback on video scripts, storyboards, and shot lists

• Manage and organize video assets, including footage, graphics, and sound effects

• Continuously improve video production processes and workflows

• Ensure videos are delivered on time and within budget

• Coordinate video shoots, including casting, location scouting, and equipment setup

• Conduct post-production tasks such as color correction, audio mixing, and final video delivery

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Film, Media Production or related field

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in video editing and production

• Proficient in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or Avid

• Experience with motion graphics, visual effects, and color correction

• Knowledge of video formats, codecs, and delivery standards for various platforms

• Strong storytelling skills with the ability present complex ideas in a succinct and captivating manner

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
