About You:
As an Animator/Motion Designer you’ll play a vital role on the Presence Creative Team, collaborating with web designers, developers, and client-facing teams to bring web designs to life. Your work will span a variety of industries and styles, giving you the opportunity to create unique motion graphics that enhance website UI and marketing materials.
We’re looking for someone who thrives on collaboration, has a keen eye for detail, and is eager to grow their skills. This role values creativity, trust, and a willingness to learn over years of experience.
Responsibilities:
- Illustrate and Animate: Create sleek, high-quality illustrations and animations in 2D/3D styles for websites, marketing assets, and digital platforms.
- Conceptualize and Storyboard: Collaborate with the Creative Manager and team to brainstorm and storyboard motion design projects.
- Maintain Brand Consistency: Follow brand guidelines to ensure visual consistency across projects.
- Innovate and Research: Stay updated on industry trends, tools, and techniques, contributing fresh ideas to elevate our motion design projects.
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with web designers, development teams, and customer-facing teams to deliver exceptional results.
- Optimize for Performance: Ensure all motion graphic assets are optimized for performance across web platforms.
- Lead and Share Knowledge: Champion the visual style of motion design within the team and mentor less experienced team members as needed.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Skilled Background: 3-5 years' experience in Animation/Motion Designing, with a strong portfolio or demo reel that showcases your motion design skills. A Portfolio is a must.
- Education: A bachelor's degree in motion graphics, illustration, animation, graphic design, interaction design, or a related field, such as art or computer graphics.
- Creative and Proficient: You have a strong portfolio showcasing diverse and creative motion design illustrations or UI animations.
- Tech-Savvy: Expert-level skills in Figma, Rive, DUIK, Lottiefiles, Spline, Unicorn Studio, or WebGL
- Skilled Storyteller: A deep understanding of visual storytelling principles and design aesthetics.
- Specialties: Skilled in UI / Visual Design, Brand / Graphic Design and Illustration / Animation
- Detail-Oriented: A sharp eye for detail and commitment to producing polished, professional work.
- Collaborative and Communicative: Strong communication skills and the ability to work seamlessly within a team.
- Adaptable Leader: Experience mentoring and guiding junior artists is a plus.
- Organized: Excellent project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
- Agile Mindset: Familiarity with Agile or Lean methodologies is a bonus.
Nice to Have:
- Knowledge of accessibility standards to create inclusive designs.
- Experience using AI image tools to support illustrations and animations.
