About West Pier Gaming
West Pier Gaming is a Brighton-based interactive software development studio specialising in work-for-hire online gambling game development. With a proven track record of delivering high-quality slot and casino content for top-tier clients, we are now expanding both our client base for work for hire contracts andproducing a strategy for bringing our own games to market.
The Role
We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Business Development Manager to help grow our B2B client relationships and drive commercial opportunities for both our work-for-hire services and in-house games. This is a key role for someone with strong industry connections, a deep understanding of the online gambling space, and a passion for building impactful partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
• Identify and secure new business opportunities within the global gaming and gambling sectors
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with key industry players, decision-makers, and influencers
• Shape and execute a sales strategy to drive revenue, both through client services and original IP publishing
• Collaborate with internal teams to develop tailored pitches and portfolio presentations
• Lead conversations with clients around project scope, design goals, and technical requirements
• Manage negotiations and serve as the primary contact throughout the deal-making process
• Work alongside project managers to define scope, development roadmaps, and cost estimates
• Oversee contract drafting and signing, ensuring alignment with client expectations
• Support a smooth project handover and onboarding process with internal delivery teams
About You
• Experience in the gaming or gambling industry in a client-facing, sales, or business development role
• Strong existing network within the online gambling sector
• Proven experience managing the full sales cycle—from lead generation to closing deals
• Solid understanding of game development workflows and project planning at a high level
• Confident presenter with excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to work independently while driving results
