THE POSITION
This is our 6th year operating in the US and we have a fantastic opportunity for a self-motivated salesperson looking for a new challenge. As the first member of our US inbound sales team, you will play an integral role supporting our growth in the US, with opportunities to grow professionally as we continue to expand and disrupt the market.
The Sales Executive will manage their own pipeline of inbound inquiries and nurture our customers from initial inquiry through to booking their events. They will demonstrate our products remotely, offer advice and recommendations, and ensure to follow up with all new prospective clients, aiming to continually improve the client experience.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
You will be responsible for inbound US inquiries and will:
- Call all prospective clients to discover what their needs are, and suggest the best solutions from our portfolio.
- Build rapport with prospects using your friendly and professional communication style, acting as the client's main point of contact during the sales process.
- Follow up to ensure prospects have all the information they need to make an informed decision.
- Follow our sales processes to ensure all prospects are spoken to and followed up with, for the best conversion rate outcomes.
- Offer video meetings to clients to demonstrate our products, taking the opportunity to tell them about Wildgoose Events, to ensure the client is confident in our credibility, experience and expertise.
- Understand the key metrics which show good/ poor engagement and action accordingly.
- Represent the voice of the customer in internal meetings to inform our sales, product, marketing and tech road map.
- Keep the CRM up to date with relevant contacts to ensure that marketing activity can be as impactful as possible.
These responsibilities will change over time. As a fast-growing company our focus may change from time to time as our strategy is updated to a changing market and new technologies. Your responsibilities may change, but will include any method we find suitable to pursue the best customer-experience possible.
You will work cross-functionally with other departments and appreciate the impact all areas have on Wildgoose's success:
- Sales (customer success). You’ll help the ‘customer success’ team to upgrade transactional clients onto an annual pass, by selling clients the benefits and introducing prospects to their Customer Success Manager.
- Product Development. Your feedback from client conversations will be valuable to help shape this. What new product areas are clients asking for? Where are the missed opportunities?
- Tech. Offer support and feedback to the team when asked, representing the voice of the customer. Keep a log of client feedback and work with tech support to resolve any client tech-based queries.
- Marketing. Sales and marketing teams work closely to agree the best sales processes, to ensure the highest possible conversion rates. Your feedback and input will help to shape marketing campaigns. It is important to keep the CRM database up to date and ‘clean’ as this data heavily influences Marketing decisions.
- Finance. You will help finance by ensuring there’s clear communication with the client, we have the correct payment details when required and there’s clear and agreed expectations about payment methods and dates
- Operations. You will help to ensure the clients expectations are met and/or exceeded by being honest about what they can expect from their events.
