As a Cardiothoracic Surgeon, you will be responsible for performing a variety of surgical procedures on the heart, lungs, and other organs within the chest cavity. You will work with a team of medical professionals to provide the highest level of care for patients with heart and lung conditions. Responsibilities:
- Perform cardiovascular and thoracic surgeries including heart valve repair, coronary artery bypass grafting, and lung transplantation
- Evaluate patients and interpret diagnostic tests to determine the best course of treatment
- Work with a multidisciplinary team to develop treatment plans and strategies for patients
- Monitor patients before, during, and after surgery, ensuring their safety and well-being
- Keep detailed and accurate records of patient history, treatment plans, and progress
- Continually update knowledge of new surgical techniques and technologies
Requirements:
- Medical degree and board certification in Cardiothoracic Surgery
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Cardiothoracic Surgery
- Excellent surgical skills with a high level of attention to detail
- Strong decision-making and critical thinking abilities
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
