Position: Case Manager - Women's Rights Information Center
The Women's Rights Information Center (WRIC) is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting and protecting women's rights. We provide a variety of services and resources to women in need, including counseling, legal support, education, and career development. We are currently seeking a compassionate and experienced Case Manager to join our team and assist in our mission to empower and support women in our community.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct intake and assessment interviews with women seeking services from WRIC
- Develop individualized case plans to address each client's specific needs and goals
- Coordinate services and referrals to internal and external resources, including legal aid, counseling, healthcare, and employment assistance
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of client interactions and progress
- Advocate for clients' rights and needs within WRIC and the broader community
- Provide crisis intervention and support as needed
- Facilitate group workshops and support groups related to women's issues and rights
- Collaborate with other agencies and organizations to enhance services and resources for women
- Attend regular meetings and training to stay informed about issues and laws related to women's rights
- Any other duties as assigned by the WRIC Executive Director
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in social work or advocacy, preferably with a focus on women's issues
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work with diverse populations and individuals with a variety of needs
- Empathy, compassion, and patience when working with clients
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Knowledge of local resources and services for women, especially those experiencing domestic violence, sexual assault, or discrimination
- Familiarity with laws and policies related to women's rights, including Title IX, VAWA, and FERPA
- Bilingual in Spanish or other languages a plus
- Must pass a criminal background check and child abuse clearance

Salary: $76,000-$93,000 per year
