THE POSITION – Engineering Technician
We are looking for a methodical, multi-disciplined Engineering Technician to support the R&D team within Navtech. The job will include radar assembly, rework and rebuild, soldering to a high standard, fault finding and testing.
If you have a background in electronics, electro-mechanical production and test or experience as a technician in a related industry this is the role for you.

OUR WORK HEADQUARTERS
Our offices are nestled in the picturesque village of Ardington, South Oxfordshire, within an easy commute from areas of Reading, Swindon, Newbury and Oxford.
The office is a modern farm conversion and offers excellent facilities in a beautiful environment with plenty of space, including ample free parking.
Travel will be required to our manufacturing facility in Grove as well as for offsite testing which could be at various locations around the UK. A full driving license and personal transport is therefore a requirement for the role.

YOUR KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
The ideal candidate will have good electronics technician skills, background in RF production, be enthusiastic and capable to perform a hands-on role with an appetite to learn new skills.
You must be a self-starter and comfortable working without constant supervision.
Soldering experience and/or qualification to IPC610 would be an advantage.
