Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients, including medical history, physical examinations, and diagnostic tests
- Diagnose and treat various medical conditions, illnesses, and injuries
- Develop and implement treatment plans for patients, based on their medical needs
- Prescribe medications and offer advice on managing chronic or acute health conditions
- Monitor and track patients' progress, and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, including specialists, nurses, and therapists
- Provide patient education and counseling on preventive healthcare measures
- Stay updated with the latest medical research, technologies, and treatments in the field of internal medicine
Requirements:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree and valid state medical license
- Board certification in Internal Medicine
- Proven experience working as an Internal Medicine Physician
- In-depth knowledge of the principles, practices, and techniques of internal medicine
- Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with a healthcare team
- Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) and other medical software
