Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting thorough neurological examinations and assessments of patients
- Diagnosing and treating various neurological conditions such as stroke, epilepsy, dementia, Parkinson’s disease, and multiple sclerosis
- Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests such as MRI, CT scans, and lab tests to assist with diagnosis and treatment plans
- Developing customized treatment plans for patients based on their individual needs
- Prescribing medications and performing procedures when necessary
- Providing guidance and advice to patients and their families on managing and coping with their neurological conditions
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for patients
- Staying up-to-date on the latest advancements and research in the field of neurology
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation
Qualifications:
- Medical degree from an accredited university
- Completed residency and fellowship training in Neurology
- Board certification in Neurology
- Valid state medical license and DEA registration
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a practicing Neurologist
- Proven track record of effectively diagnosing and treating various neurological disorders
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
