As a District Manager with Abby Road, you will oversee the operations of multiple retail stores within a designated geographical area, primarily responsible for ensuring each store meets sales targets, maintains brand standards, and delivers excellent customer service by managing store managers, implementing company initiatives, and providing support to achieve optimal performance across your district; this includes hiring and training staff, setting sales goals, monitoring performance metrics, and addressing operational challenges within each location. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, motivated, punctual and engaged.
This is a fulltime salaried position with expected hours of 45 hours per week.

Responsibilities Include
Leadership and Team Management:
- Hire, train, and develop store managers within the district.
- Coach and mentor store managers to achieve sales goals and operational excellence.
- Provide performance feedback and address performance issues with store managers.
- Foster a positive work environment and promote team collaboration across stores.
Sales and Profitability:
- Analyze sales data and identify opportunities to increase sales and profitability within the district.
- Set sales goals for each store and monitor progress towards achieving them.
- Implement sales strategies and promotional initiatives across the district.
- Monitor key performance indicators to track store performance and identify areas for improvement.
Operational Oversight:
- Conduct regular store visits to assess operational efficiency, visual merchandising, and compliance with company standards.
- Ensure stores adhere to company policies and procedures regarding company standards, customer service, inventory management, and loss prevention.
- Manage budget allocation and expense control for each store within the district.
- Address customer concerns and complaints escalated from store level.
Communication and Reporting:
- Regularly communicate company updates, strategic initiatives, and performance expectations to store managers and store teams.
- Provide timely reports to senior management on district performance, sales trends, and operational issues.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure aligned strategies across the district.
Qualifications
- Open Availability Monday thru Sunday.
- Valid drivers license and clean driving record.
- Smoke and Vape Shop product knowledge.
- 2-3 years of retail operations knowledge including merchandising, inventory management, and customer service standards, in a supervisory role.
- Friendly and outgoing personality.
- Strong leadership and motivational skills to manage teams of store managers and sales associates.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with store teams and senior management.
- Analytical skills to interpret sales and inventory data and identify areas for improvement.
- Problem-solving abilities to address operational challenges and resolve issues at the store level.
- Ability to handle change and pivot in a fast paced environment.
- Ability to travel frequently to visit stores within the assigned area.
