This is an exciting opportunity for the right individual to become part of a growing team, Addfield manufacture and distribute machines to every continent around the world. With this continued growth we are looking for an enthusiastic site engineer. You will be required to work within a manufacturing environment, where you will work closely with the rest of team, the right individual must be self-motivated and want to learn a specialist trade. 

 

Key duties 

  • Installing, Servicing and Commissioning Addfield and other Suppliers Incinerators in the UK and Abroad.
  • Communicating with clients to ensure servicing needs are delivered effectively.
  • Monitoring and recording machinery performance and preventative maintenance.
  • Conducting health checks on equipment
  • Delivering demonstrations and training to ensure the safe use of equipment
  • Provide recommendations on new products or potential improvements.
  • Monitor van inventory and report when materials are used and when replacements are required.
  • Providing Customer support and being the face of Addfield. Remaining professional at all times
  • Alerting the Quality Operative / QHSE Manager of ongoing problems.
  • Encourage good practices and cleanliness around the factory.
  • Ensuring Paperwork is an accurate representation of the work conducted and sent to the office promptly.
  • Working to KPI’s Set by Manager
  • Any other reasonable duties which may be required by management from time to time.

 

Expectation

  • Computer Literate.
  • Engineering Experience (Electrical/ Mechanical /Gas) Correct use of tools.
  • Time management and organisational skills to be able to work to deadlines.
  • Flexible approach to work and the ability to adapt to change inc. Overtime
  • Ability to problem solve.
  • Physically fit capable of manual labour
  • Good communication skills.
  • Care and consideration of COSHH.
  • Valid UK Manual Driving Licence
  • Valid Passport.
