What You Will Do
- Design, configure, and maintain corporate networks and associated services which includes wireless networks and point-to-point connections.
- Identify network requirements, build network architecture and develop appropriate solutions.
- Monitor, analyze and troubleshoot network performance using various diagnostic tools.
- Research and recommend technology solutions to help meet customer and company needs.
- Coordinate with various team members such as system administrators, software developers, and external vendors.
- Lead test implementations for new technologies and contribute to projects.
- Stay abreast of new technologies.
- Manage customer networks and provide technical support.
What You Will Need
- 5 years of experience in network engineering and support.
- Proven experience in deploying and configuring network equipment such as routers and switches.
- Knowledge of various OSI layers and protocols such as TCP/IP, VPN, VoIP, and multicast.
- Hands-on experience of troubleshooting networks using packet analysers, protocol analysers etc.
- Good knowledge of HP-UX, Windows and Linux/Unix operating systems.
- Possess strong customer service, written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to learn quickly and analyze complex network problems.
- CCNP and/or CCIE certification is a plus.
