Job Description :
Building the business within the territory using a variety of sales techniques. Targeting potential customers and assessing opportunities for sales. Arranging meetings with potential customers and selling product offerings.
Job Responsibilities of Territory Development Manager :
- Calling on Doctors with pre-determined frequency to promote, discuss, remind, brands of the company in the assigned territory
- Meeting specified number of doctors by working in a pre-planned territory that is decided with help of a Monthly Tour Plan
- Meeting the company appointed Clients(Pathology Labs and Collection Centres),and create new clients to ensure sustained growth of business in his or her assigned territory.
- Submission of Daily Reports giving details of day’s work consisting of names of Doctors ,Labs, Collection centres, retailers, and so forth.
- Occasional joint working with managers, Marketing and Medical Team for greater effectiveness of the calls.
- Achieving assigned targets for every brand of the company.
- Attending weekly, monthly or quarterly Sales Review Meetings to discuss target versus achievement, product promotion strategies, new launches, and future sales planning.
- Giving feedback to marketing department about competitor activities.
- Attending regular training programs for updating medical as well as pharmaceutical knowledge.
- Arranging Medical Camps,CMEs,RTMs in his or her territory on regular basis.
- Research Competitors and gather Market information and share with his or her organisation.
Requirements :
- Science Graduate
- 1 to 5 years of experience
- Must have good communication skill
- Preferably female candidate
