Job Description:
We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-oriented individuals to join our team as Waiters/Waitresses. As a Waiter/Waitress, you will play a key role in providing excellent dining experiences for our guests. Your primary responsibilities will include taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring guest satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner.
- Present menus, make recommendations, and answer questions regarding food and beverages.
- Take accurate orders from guests and transmit them to the kitchen staff promptly.
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely and courteous manner.
- Ensure proper table setup and cleanliness before and after each guest's visit.
- Monitor and respond to guest needs throughout their dining experience.
- Process guest payments accurately and efficiently.
- Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service and resolve any issues.
- Address guest complaints or concerns with professionalism and strive to resolve them satisfactorily.
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Maintain a positive and cooperative relationship with team members and supervisors.
Requirements:
- Prior experience as a waiter/waitress is preferred but not required.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in order taking and serving.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Knowledge of food and beverage menus, including dietary restrictions and special requests.
- Basic math skills for handling bill payments and making change.
- Physical stamina to stand and walk for extended periods and lift trays or plates when necessary.
