🎯 Role Summary
We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Pulmonary & Critical Care Consultant with American Board Certification to join a leading tertiary care hospital in Dubai. The ideal candidate will bring clinical excellence, leadership in multidisciplinary ICU settings, and a commitment to evidence-based care.
🧠Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage care for critically ill patients in the ICU, including ventilator management, hemodynamic monitoring, and advanced life support.
Diagnose and treat complex pulmonary conditions such as ARDS, COPD, interstitial lung disease, and pulmonary hypertension.
Perform advanced procedures including bronchoscopy, EBUS, thoracentesis, and central line placement.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including anesthesiology, cardiology, infectious disease, and emergency medicine.
Participate in clinical governance, quality improvement, and protocol development.
Mentor junior physicians and contribute to CME programs and academic activities.
📋 Qualifications & Experience
Board Certification: American Board of Internal Medicine with subspecialty certification in Pulmonary Disease and Critical Care Medicine.
Experience: Minimum 5–7 years post-board certification in a tertiary or academic hospital setting.
Licensure: DHA eligibility or license preferred; support provided for licensing process.
Proven expertise in managing high-acuity ICU cases and pulmonary diagnostics.
Strong communication, leadership, and team collaboration skills.
