Consultant Hematologist (BMT & CAR T Cell Therapy) at Allocation Assist DMCC

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Consultant Hematologist with a specialty in Bone Marrow Transplantation (BMT) and CAR T Cell Therapy. The role is crucial to our multidisciplinary team, with responsibilities encompassing inpatient and outpatient care, clinical consultations, teaching, and research.

Responsibilities:

• Provide swift, effective, and compassionate care to all hematology patients, including those requiring bone marrow transplants and/or CAR T Cell Therapy.
• Liaise with our multidisciplinary team to develop patient care plans and ensure the best possible outcomes.
• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including bone marrow biopsies, stem cell mobilization, collection, transplantation, immunotherapies, and chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell therapies.
• Participate in and contribute to regular team meetings, case conferences, and clinical audits. Maintain familiarity with clinical and industry developments through regular continuing professional development activities.
• Contribute to departmental research, developments, and publications in BMT and CAR T Cell Therapy.

Qualifications:

• Must hold a medical degree from a recognized institution and have valid licensure to practice medicine.
• A postgraduate qualification in Hematology and significant experience in the field, particularly with BMT and CAR T Cell Therapy, is essential.
• An effective communicator, with strong emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills, vital for managing complex relationships with patients and family members.
• Commitment to maintaining up-to-date knowledge and best practice in Hematology, BMT, and CAR T Cell Therapy, as demonstrated by participation in ongoing medical education.
